I am making a jellyfish costume for Halloween and using glow stick necklaces as tentacles. Only problem is attaching the glow sticks to the fabric. Can I hot glue them? Maybe attach with some ribbon? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Am wanting a ring around the edge of the jellyfish and then tentacles. All I have are the connectors that come with the necklaces.
I think hot glue would work well. If anything, you can glue the glow sticks to the fabric by the connectors only… just to be safe. Use just enough glue to keep the plastic stuck to the fabric. You don’t want glue oozing out around the connectors (very messy looking). Also be careful with the glue bleeding through the fabric. Make sure it doesn’t stick to your work surface.
