dyeing fabric in washing machine
when you dye fabric in your washing machine……???

do you find that it seems to ruin the fibers quite a bit???

am i doing something wrong???

i follow the directions, carefully!!!

You can’t dye anything that is not washable. If your dress is dry-clean-only, dyeing in the washing machine will damage it, just as washing will.

That said, dye will not damage a fiber that it is suitable for. Always choose the right kind of dye for your fiber. Hot water dyes, such as Rit, are not suitable for clothing that is intended to be washed only in cool water. For cotton, linen, and rayon, it is best to use a cool water dye such as Procion dye. Do not try to dye synthetic materials such as polyester satin.
