African Patterns Fabric
Do you think this dress will turn out right?
I want to make an African evening dress using this pattern http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M5094.htm??tab=list/dresses&page=all. I’m going to use make dress D or E.

Those are some of the most beautiful fabrics I have ever seen! It seems that some are handwoven and depending on which ones you were to use (coarse or fine) you would need a different sewing needle for them. Also, are you planning on one of the fabrics or all five? They would be great together in the different folds of the skirt, but one pattern with a contrast colour or a coordinating colour would be just as nice or maybe nicer.
