What color blue is in the Ivana dress by Maggie Sottero?
I ordered this dress with the promise to get a blue swatch to me right away. The colors of blue of my wedding were going to revolve around this blue.
Then I find out they’re out of swatches and no idea when they’ll be in. So I’m ordering a yard of the fabric, but it won’t be in until December. My wedding is in February. The shop owner asked what shade and was told baby blue. She showed me what color this was on another dress, but she’s not 100% sure.
I was wondering if any of you had pictures of what this blue looks like or something along those lines.

Are you sure you want the colors to match the blue in the dress? It is likely that it will be difficult to find other fabrics that will match it closely enough — two “powder blues” or “baby blues” might still end up clashing since everyone’s definition is slightly different.
You may wish to try another color that will make the blue in your dress “pop.” I would recommend a yellow to really bring out blue — I once wore blue earrings with a yellow dress and I’ve never gotten so many compliments. Alternatively, if you’re not into yellow or want to stick with cooler colors, a periwinkle purple-blue would probably go nicely and look very elegant.
