What materials should i choose to get a sofa made to order?
I need to get a sofa made from scratch in Pune.
my questions are
1. which wood should be used?
2. what should be the density of foam used in the seat and arm rests and back cushions?
3. Most important.. which fabric is the best topmost cover for the sofa?
i am looking for a really modern funky design. any pointers to design websites will also be helpful. but if u r an interior decorator pls help me with the above questions . waiting in anticipation
The type of wood: Hard wood is the best, woods like Oak or Mahogeny. Soft woods like pine tend to dent and chip more. Density of foam is a personal choice it depends on how firm you like. Generally medium density will surfice. Lastly a tightly woven fabric is better than a loose one. Style on all is up to you and what you like.
