What crafts are good to sell or give as gifts? ?

I want to make some crafts to sell and I also want to make gifts this year for christmas instead of buying them. I’m pretty ok with a sweing machine, I’d say my skill is medium (quick question, the thread on my sewing machine comes off a lot, is this normal or am i doing something wrong?) I have a lot of felt on hand and different fabrics and many different glues. I’m also pretty good at baking. Feel free to provide links to anything.

I made cross-stitched bookmarks for last Christmas using aida band as well as some DMC thread leftovers -very easy and quick to do even though cross-stitching is done by hand!
