HELP! i’m a newbie sewer and need help with a book i’m making….?

I am making a cloth book for my niece’s 1st bday (party is this saturday). Everything is done, except for putting everything together. Fleece is the main fabric I used for the pages, and they are too thick to stack on each other and sew together. I was thinking about using three buttons (like a binder) but I dont think the thread would do well and I’d have to do it by hand. I’d love some suggestions! I provided a link to my photo album to give you an idea what i’m working with

eskie that is a great idea! unfortunately all the pages are separate lol. unless what you mean is to make a hole in each page and pull the ribbon through. i’d have to attach an eyelet to each page to prevent tears and I dont have the toold for that.
yes drip I figured that out once I was almost done with the project lol I know now!! could you explain to me a little more about your suggestion about the spine?

How about attaching a ribbon around the outside and then making a beautiful bow to hold it together at the pages? What a special heirloom gift!
