Blazer Men's Cotton Fabric Care (Wash & Dry)?

Men jacket I would like to clean, has a cotton outer shell 100%, 65% Polyester/35% cotton interior lining, but the care label says clothes should be dry cleaned. Is this true? Or I can throw in the normal washing and drying? Please let me know what you think I should do.
