Country Fabrics And Quilts
Quilt Challenge – using “Canoe County” fabric?
I’m looking for ideas using Holly Taylor’s “Canoe Country” line of fabric to make a double/full sized quilt. I looked at the book of ideas that is available, and didn’t find one I liked. I will be hand quilting this quilt, so I’d like something that has more pattern to it than a huge open block. I don’t want to fussy cut or use the big “picture” pannels, but I really like the fern and leaf fabrics for this quilt, and I know the recipient will too.
Let me hear your ideas – websites and pictures are appreciated. I’m a fan of traditional block style quilts, so if you can picture the perfect block for these fabrics, please tell!!!

The sunshine and shadow star…I can’t tell from the photo link you had how big the pattern is though, may not work. Hope you find something you love though.
