What kind of paint do you suggest material for the artwork on your shirt?
Getting started with fabric paints. For a small outlay in a couple of colors and a suitable brush, fabric painting opens up endless opportunities to transform your wardrobe and home. It lets you create one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art (t-shirts are the most common) or the design of some special protection covers, curtains, or tapestry. Fabric Painting Tip 1. It will be nothing less than 100 percent cotton do? Purists say the best to paint on canvas is 100 percent cotton with tightly woven cloth (white or cream canvas painting a bit boring). But good results are available in silk and scratches too. It is best to test a sample of the plaza to see the results. Fabric Painting Tip 2. Tight is brilliant if a fabric is loosely woven, paint tends to seep through the steps before it is dry. This tends to reduce the intensity of colors. A fine weave fabric is also easier to paint detail of a loosely woven one. Fabric Painting Tip 3. To Prewash Prewash or not? The reason for prewash fabric before painting over it is to eliminate any size added during manufacturing that can prevent the paint adhering to the surface. It also gives an opportunity to reduce, if it goes. To test whether a piece of fabric really needs prewash put some water on it. If it settles on the surface, it needs washing. If it sinks, so the paint. Fabric Painting Tip 4. Skip the fabric softener If you wash a fabric, Do not add fabric softener! You're trying not to get rid of chemicals, add new ones. Fabric Painting Tip 5. Rid of Wrinkles Take time for iron and fabric. Wrinkles can create chaos in a design. Fabric Painting Tip 6. The heat is the easiest way to paint fabric is made of iron for a few minutes (Refer to the manufacturer's instructions). If the iron on the wrong side of the canvas, the painting still well established and need not worry about it rubbing off on the iron or colors bleeding into each other. Alternatively, use a press cloth. Allow the paint to dry completely before ironing – at least 24 hours. If you have a large project, you may want to try your dryer – Tumble a piece of the sample on high for half an hour, then wash to see if the driest was warm enough. If you are very brave, try to establish in your oven. Fabric Painting Tip 7. Go With the Flow Wet the cloth with clean water before painting stimulates the flow of colors to each other, like a watercolor. But do not add too much water as you dilute the colors, the cloth should be moist, not soggy. Fabric Painting Tip 8. Tread Softly and stencil printing on fabric work best if you are working on a slightly padded surface – An old towel works well. Or if you do not want to sacrifice a towel, cover a sheet of thick cardboard with wax paper (so it can be cleaned). Fabric Painting Tip 9. Bleach bleached out colors can be used to remove (the management) the dye in a tissue, with results unexpected and unpredictable (not a trial period!). Obviously it works best with dark colors. To stop the action of bleach, rinse with a mixture of one cup vinegar white half a bucket of water or wash the cloth immediately. Use a cheap brush to apply bleach, as it will spoil quickly. Fabric Painting Tip 10. One plot Remember that painting faces a T-shirt to add something – a few sheets of newspaper, a bit of card or plastic – inside the shirt so the paint does not seep through the back of his shirt.
