Fabric Belts For Women
Can anyone tell me about a certain style of clothing?
I think I’ve seen it in some anime, or something, but it appears to be two large pieces of fabric hanging from or past a belt or some other fasting device. One is usually in front of the person and the other piece of fabric is in back. Overall, it sorta resembles an oversized loincloth, but I’ve seen pants being worn beneath the fabric. I’ve also seen both men and women wear it. Can anyone tell me if there is a term for that style?
I’m not sure what it’s called, but I believe it’s a part of attire taken from ancient Japanese attire. I think if you would look up historic Japanese clothing, or illustrations on the history of Japanese clothing you might find out what it was.
