When is your signature… not your signature???? How do you protect yourself!?

I’m an independent interior decorator.Ordered fabric from reputable fabric house. Pd that day cc, fabric house shipped to fabricator, at my request, by UPS. Fabricator holds fabric for me & others until needed. Drapery made & shipped to me, I was out of town, normally co wld advise drapery on the way & cost. No advance notice, employee pd for drapery. Upon my return reviewed bill..thought excessive, have worked with co for a few years, no prob, beautiful work. The co utilized their own lining, saying never recvd my fabric. Yes, I have cc chrg & shipping info from fabric house indicating shipping date/weight of bolt & shipped out day after my cc chrg. UPS has all shipping info & signature on file. Drapery co employee who signed for delivery said never recd. I am in Fl, co. in question in Texas. I have tried for 4 months to get an answer, now informed will not reimburse. Cannot get to owner through co. Guess my question is … when is “your” signature not your signature .. amazing?!

I get upset when something like this happens mate. Is it possible you can put a claim in at UPS. Try and get UPS to head the query maybe with the client!
