Fabric Fairy

What about these irregular line lengths? Do they mar the finish?

FOOLISH FOLLY

Along the walkway where I wander
grows a springy wire-haired moss.
To it sticks the fairy feathers
fallen from their frilly frocks.

I picked a pint of fabric fibers
sprinkled round with flecks of gold.
In my pocket with the pebbles
through the hole I left unsewn.

What a mess now I am making
as my strolling seeds the soil.
Flung afar from fancy frolics
caught among my cuffs and folds.

OMG! I just figured out alliteration and assonance. Thanks for the example which is also a fun poem, but more thanks for the lesson. The light bulb takes a bit longer to click on, I find, than it did at 50…
