fabric glues

Some years ago I discovered a simple and fun technique to make beautiful and unique Christmas ornaments. These can be made for gifts or for your own tree. You can make an afternoon with your kids or friends.

Materials:
Styrofoam balls: a variety of sizes, but no bigger than a ball baseball.
Square of Cloth assortment of sizes and different types of fabric, try dazzling and velvets.
Bits and Pieces: ribbon, beads, sequins, buttons, rickrack, costume jewelry, roses and ribbon or anything else you would like to embellish with ornaments.
Hot glue gun and scissors to cut and paste all the pieces and parts.
Thread: to fasten and adjust
Small pins and tacks: to apply the tape and accounts.

Basic techniques:

Step 1:
Choose a beautiful square piece of cloth. Place a Styrofoam ball in the center of the square.

Step 2:
Take all four corners and meet toward the center of the Styrofoam ball (this is also how you can decide what works for square-sized ball size). Take your piece of precut wire and tightly wrap around the selected area, dab a little hot glue to keep it simple.

Step 3:
Now you can decide whether to reduce the collection area of the fabric or leave it. That depends entirely on how it looks. If the fabric is too bulky in the area then can shear plane. If you decide cut the top off then should cover that area with a pink ribbon or beads.

Step 4:
You must make a loop with ribbon or beads on a wire, and attach in the center of the Styrofoam ball with a pin or tack again and some glue, in the same area where they met and cut the fabric. This link is how you will hang the ornaments in the tree.

Step 5:
Now the real fun begins. Home attaching ribbon or beads or buttons, and all the trimmings that you have chosen. You Use sequins and small nails or tacks and paste things through the web and on the ball. Always use a portion of glue, do not want anything falling off!

When you think that its ornamentation is complete turn about and make sure it looks great from all angles. Make sure to cover or hide something that does not seems attractive. You can make all sizes of ornaments. They are very light and easy to hang.
