how to create a t-shirt from scratch?how to create 1 from the beginning with only the basic items in hand?

i need to do a project explaining how to create a t-shirt with almost nothing but fabric, sewing kit and a sewing machine.is there a step-by-step method to create a t-shirt?

get enough knit cotton or poly cotton fabric to cover your upper body, twice, thats for front and back, then take it home and lay and old tshirt on it, and cut around it leaving an inch on all sides, you dont need to seam in the sleeves, you can cut them on the top fold so that makes two seams you dont need to sew, then cut out the neck hole, start by sewing from one sleeve end around the armpit and down the side, then do that to the other side, now try it on for fit, you can cut the neck line a little larger if you wish but remember about an inch will be turned in, unless you wish to use bias binding on the neck edge for a little color and style, now measure how long you want it to be and turn the hem under and pin in a place or two, then take it off carefully, now pin the hem in place turning it under twice so there are no raw edges, and sew the hem down, if you use a zig zag stitch or a streatch stitch it will stay best because streachy fabric can pull at the solid straight stitches if you pull on the shirt much, then turn the armhole ends up two turns of a half inch each and hem them the same way, now for the neck if you want to use binding or even a streach neck ribbing you can purchase that and follow the instructions inside on how to apply it , or you can turn the edge of the neck down as before and sew. if the curve is deep you may need to score it a few times to get the turn decent, i would turn it the first half inch and sew then turn it the second half inch, and see if the curves needed clipping before i sew that down, tshirts are very basic, make them knee length and you have a night shirt.
