How strict is security like at Fabric nightclub in London? With regards to checking a inderviduals ID?

Me and my friends have just finished our A levels and are planning to take a trip to Fabric nightclub in London. However unluckily i am one of the youngest in the year and am not 18 yet so i would be unable to get in, however one of my friends (who is 18) and me look quite similar. so the plan is that we go in at different times he uses his passport and i use his drivers license.I’m confidant that the picture on the drivers license looks enough like me to work, however i just wondered if anyones been and have any info on any checks they are likely to do that could foil this plan? and just generally how strict are they? and also how likely they think is plan is to succeed? thanks very much!

Presenting false ID is ilegal and could get you and your best friend into trouble.

The door staff would be well within their rights to hold on to the driving license if there is any discrepancy.
