I need an inexpensive sewing machine that can do ‘rolled edges’.. (continued)

I need an inexpensive sewing machine that can do ‘rolled edges’ on delicate fabrics like chiffon and silk, for scarves.

Are there any inexpensive models around $100-$150?
I need it for doing hems on silk, chiffon, georgette and other light materials for scarves.

Rolled hemming is generally considered to be a serger function, and you’re not going to get a new serger that works well for that kind of money.

You can do narrow hemming on a sewing machine — again, you’re not going to get a new machine that does a really nice job of narrow hemming for that price, but you can find good used machines that will do a nice job for that amount. There are special feet for doing this job — I notice some are called “rolled hem” by some people, but traditionally, these are “narrow hems”:
