Textile stores in NYC or?

Where can I find GOOD textile stores in NYC? The price doesn’t really matter as long as the fabrics are good quality and don’t look cheap. Would be great to get the website addreses to the stores as well! I was actually wondering where the fashion designers get their fabrics from? I am presently working on my portfolio with designs and I need to make it look fabulous to get to the fashion school. Thanks for your help!
