Good Fabric Stores in San Francisco (Area)?

I live in San Bruno, CA but will travel. I’m going to Thailand and I want to make myself a silk liner to take with me so I can use it in the hotel (just in case they don’t clean the bedsheets). I would buy a liner like the rip stop silk liners they sell at REI but they want sixty dollars for them and I don’t have that much money. Can anyone recommend a good fabric store in the SF Bay Area that might have what I’m looking for at reasonable price?
I was going to say, “I already know about Britex fabrics” in San Francisco. Because of it’s location I am very scared to go in there because everything in Union Square is extremely expensive. I’m not Donald Trump. I don’t have too much money which is why I’m making my own silk liner to begin with. But thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it.

You are traveling to Thailand but you cannot afford $60? Strange. Walmart is probable the cheapest place but not all locations carry fabric. My guess is you still going to be looking at$30 to $40. Is it really worth the effort for $20 or less (gas etc.)?
