fabric usage

Introduction

In recent years the use of natural dyes and colors to dye the fabric has been witnessed due to recovery experience of danger due to the effects of synthetic dyes and chemicals. Natural dyes are organic, harmless and non toxic in nature. Furthermore, the use of renewable energy in the textile and clothing has increased due to the many benefits associated with it. The use of solar energy dyeing purpose is a cost effective method. In hot countries like India, the sun shines for 60% of the day, using solar energy to dye silk fabric with turmeric dye is easy and inexpensive environment.

Required stuff

There are certain things necessary to coloration of silk with turmeric dye described below turmeric plant is due, raw silk yarn fabrics, dilute nitric acid acetic and mordants like alum and tin chloride.

Before applying ink to the material removal process of sericin from silk is done. Here the silk fabric is first treated with eZee stay there for about an hour then washed and dried. This whole process is known as degumming.

Improvement the parameters of the dye

To dye silk fabric with turmeric dye certain procedures to be followed. The dye dilution, the time required for extraction, the time for the dye, the amount of mordant used and etching process must be addressed as a consequence of turmeric on silk fabrics that is evenly dyed dyed color without patches or differences in the shade.

Not only the yellow color is produced by dyeing with dyes turmeric, but also produce other colors, when turmeric dye is mixed with other colors, like – orange, green, blue with the addition of indigo and red with the addition of safflowerseed and peel mango.

You might think how the colors red and yellow colors are produced through dye turmeric in its original form, the answer lies in the type of liquid that is used for concentration. When the solution is prepared in liquid acid produced yellow dye and when the alkaline liquid is used produce red dye.

The time of extraction of dyes:

To extract dyeing, aqueous mode is used. The dye is considered by its uniform color and shade in the quality control supervisors before applying to the fabric. The turmeric powder is that gram is diluted with 100 ml of water. Four of these solutions are ready. Each is boiled for four different words, time 20, 40, 60 and 80 minutes a solar oven.

Time needed for dyeing:

The optimum dye solution is used to normalize the concentration of dye. The dyes undergo the procedure at the time of absorption of solar cooking are 30-180 minutes. The power absorption of the silk fabric dyeing determines the time

Acid concentration:

The two fatty acid used for dilution acetic and nitric acids. From each of dilute acid 20 ml is mixed in the dye bath. The dyes are tested for their power of absorption. This test is done visually.

Mordants for use:

The previously discussed mordant alum and tin chloride is used here. The process of dyeing and etching are conducted jointly. Both mordants are mixed with water mordants means optimized.

Process for etching:

There are two methods in premordanting and postmordanting etching. The prerequisite this process is to keep other things like time of dyeing, acid concentration, etc. constant. Glancing dyes etching method that is before or postmordanting to be used is decided.

They are also classified by generations, as they were produced in different years and known as first generation, second generation, third generation or fourth generation fibers. This occurs in the following table:
