Fabric Vintage Style

Which dress should I make for an upcoming wedding I am attending?

Look at this pattern and tell me which dress I should make according to my size.

I am a Size 14, and I am 5 ft. 6 inches tall. I am not fat , but a little chucky around the waist. I love the A-line skirt, but it will probably enhance the bulk of my waist. The straight fit one is cute too, I think it would make for a more slimming look. But still I love the A-line skirt style. I am thinking a nice pink fabric with a black sash…maybe polka dots for that 50s vintage look.

Ok, first of all, I LOVE all of those patterns! I would say to go with the A-line skirt DEFINITELY because, since it goes out at the bottom of the dress, it will make your waist look smaller! Slimmer! The straight fit dress will be tight, which will enhance your waist, and it won’t be as comfortable, and it won’t be flattering. BTW, good luck w/making the dress and have fun at the wedding!
Hope this helps!
