MARICOPA — Maricopa High School Student Derrick D. James Jr. dazzled the Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology Governing Board on Feb. 3 with his skill creating a salad of finely chopped and marinated vegetables arranged in a 2-inch basket of paper-thin cucumber slices.
