To print the screen as a hobby, you may have tried several ways to create your stencil. One such way that has become popular on the Internet is the screen filler method. In essence, fill the screen method is to paint an image on a screen with a filler that dries and turns into your template. Once created the template, the screen is used in the same way that is always with the print screen: placed on the canvas, the ink is loaded on the screen, and a brush rubber is used to push the ink through it. Wherever the holes in the screen have not been painted over the image is created.

While some may consider fill the screen simple and cheap method, there are several drawbacks:

1.It is extremely slow, in fact most of the manifestations of this method participation of some detail, the simple art.

2.When you make a mistake filling paint can be very aggravating to try to fix.

3.It is tedious. Was very time consuming and laborious.

4.Si you want to play the display, you have to make the whole process again and it'll never be exactly the same.

5.Line working and are small enough out of the question. Imagine trying to paint the centers of letters like "e" and "A" or a long straight line.

Fortunately, there is another method for creating templates on the screens to resolve the five issues mentioned, and also relatively less at a base on screen: the photographic method using light-sensitive emulsion.

Basically, the photographic method is to fill all holes in the screen with photographic emulsion (also known as coating of the screen). The emulsion is simply poured into a scoopcoater and dragged through of the screen, creating a barrier as thick as a few sheets of paper. When hair is dry, is ready for display.

Then a film is made with the desired image. The film consists of two parts, blocking the light and the transparent part. The film is like the final print will look, except it is black and clear.

The film functions as a light barrier by exposing the emulsion to light. Because the emulsion is sensitive to light, becomes resistant to water when exposed. After exposure, the screen cleared, and the unexposed wash out. The image of the movie becomes the stencil on the screen, allowing the ink to pass only when the image is. The films are usually made of transparencies in a role similar to tracing paper, or in particular coated acetate sheets that can be printed with an inkjet printer.

While there are some types of photographic emulsions, capillary films including, diazo, photopolymer, and dual-curing, light-sensitive emulsion that is probably most useful for the type of printer you might consider filling the screen method is the dual cure emulsion. The reason for dual cure is an adequate substitute is that someone using the screen to fill most likely method looking to make an impression in the short term if using water based inks (less than 1000 units), they want to make a quality screen that can be recycled, and who want as few steps as possible to create the screen with so little expense.

Coating with photographic emulsion screens is fairly quick and painless process once he gets the hang of it. While there are some best practices and troubleshooting tips that can shorten their learning curve, even without much experience in most people pick up quickly. The main disadvantage of the photographic process is that you need a light source to expose your screen. Fortunately, with the right setup, you have a variety of options including the sun.
